CITU - Andhra Pradesh: CITU AP or CITU Andhra Pradesh or CITU Andhra Pradesh or Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU)''' is the Andhra Pradesh state unit of CITU. It is a national trade union in India. It is affiliated to the Communist Party of India (Marxist). It is responsible for organizing and coordinating activities and campaigns on workers' issues in the state. CITU is estimated to have 6,200,000 members by 2023. C.H. Narsinga Rao was elected as the Andhra Pradesh State General Secretary, A.V. Nageswara Rao as the State President and K.R.K. Murthy as the State Treasurer at the 2023 Bhimavaram General Conference. It runs a monthly publication called Karmikalokam. CITU is affiliated to the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU). Currently, multiple industrial federations are working with CITU at the national level. It is also affiliated to AIITEU, a trade union for IT/ITES employees in India.
